WATCH: Biden’s Brain Malfunctions In Real Time Yet Again

Things went badly for President Joe Biden in yet another awkward speech that appears to have been given at the White House on Tuesday, June 4. It was drawn attention to by the RNC Research account on X, one that is run by the RNC and often finds embarrassing clips of Biden. The speech appears to be one given as he and the First Lady hosted the White House Congressional Picnic on the South Lawn.

President Biden spoke at the even after being introduced by the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. She turned the speech into one about a women’s health research initiative, saying, “Over these past three and a half years, so many of you have welcomed me to your districts and your states, as we’ve worked together on issues that bring us all together: Lifting up educators, highlighting the great work of your local community colleges, fighting to end cancer as we know it, supporting military families.”

She continued, “And I’m so excited to work with all of you on our newest White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research. Research on women’s health, especially for women in mid-life and beyond, has always been underfunded and understudied – but, together, we’re changing that. Everywhere I go – in red and blue areas – I get asked about this new initiative all the time – and our work together is only beginning.”

Then, awkwardly encouraging people to have fun, she said, “But today isn’t about work – today is about you and your families, sharing some laughs, some good food, and enjoying the start of summer before it gets even more hot and humid! For all the kids out there, you can tell your parents that I said to make sure you enjoy the best lawn in America – run around, play tag, do cartwheels, have fun! And let’s make this evening a celebration of what brings us all together – family, friends, our love of country, and our belief in a better tomorrow!”

That’s when President Biden was finally introduced by the First Lady. Dr. Jill said, “Now, I get to introduce my husband – Senator from Delaware for 36 years, and now President of the United States – and as you all know him: Joe.”

But all did not go well as, during the speech, Biden did the usual thing and lost his line of thought and started stumbling over his words while the audience and Dr. Jill awkwardly looked on before he finally got somewhat back on track. The RNC Research X account, in a post on the incident, said, “Biden’s brain malfunctions in real time (again)”

Watch him here:

Joking in the comments section, snarky commenters said things like, “The look on Jill’s face…That moment of horror. And once again she’s clad in a fabulous tablecloth. #FJB” and “He remembers when he was Vice President? Biden had a hard time remembering when he was Vice President when special counsel Robert Hur interviewed him. Hur: Biden is an “elderly man with a poor memory”. Biden also recently said he was Vice President during the pandemic.”

As background, though concerns about Biden’s age have been prominent since he announced his run, they increased in intensity following the report from Special Counsel Hur that indicated the elderly president’s age is something of a problem for him, particularly as regards his mental fitness for the job. At one point in that report, for instance, special counsel Hur said, “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory . . . It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Another part of it provided, “In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (“if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?”), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (“in 2009, am I still Vice President?”), He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him. Among other things, he mistakenly said he “had a real difference” of opinion with General Karl Eikenberry, when, in fact, Eikenberry was an ally whom Mr. Biden cited approvingly in his Thanksgiving memo to President Obama. In a case where the government must prove that Mr. Biden knew he had possession of the classified Afghanistan documents after the vice presidency and chose to keep those documents, knowing he was violating the law, we expect that at trial, his attorneys would emphasize these limitations in his recall.”
