A leopard attacked a farmer’s livestock farm during the night, entering the sheep enclosure and killing 10 sheep before escaping into nearby fields.
The incident occurred in a rural village, where the farmer discovered the scene early in the morning. Several sheep were found dead, while others were injured and in shock. The attack is believed to have happened late at night, when the area was quiet and visibility was low.
Local authorities and wildlife officials were informed immediately and have begun monitoring the area. Residents have been advised to remain alert, secure their animals, and avoid moving alone at night, as the leopard may still be nearby.
Officials stated that such attacks are uncommon but can happen when wild predators move closer to villages in search of food. An investigation is ongoing to assess the situation and prevent further incidents.
