A 30-year-old woman in Georgia was declared brain dead

A 30-year-old woman in Georgia was declared brain dead over 90 days ago, but she’s still on life support because she was 9 weeks pregnant at the time.Brain injury prevention products
She had reported a headache, and was sent back home without proper testing; the following day, she was found unresponsive and later became brain dead from blo.od clot.

Due to Georgia’s heartbeat law, her family has no legal say in removing her from life support.
The fetus is now 21 weeks, and doctors are trying to keep her body functioning until at least 32 weeks for a possible delivery, against the wish of her mom.
How are they sure this baby will even come out okay, thereby causing more problems for the family? The doctors are uncertain about the baby’s chances of survival or healthy life.Grief counseling services

Women, both pregnant and not pregnant, are now trending, “If anything goes wrong during my pregnancy/labour, save me, not the baby.”
This is torture. I wonder what she’d want.
