Nostradamus’ 2025 Prediction Sparks Fear Of Impending Global Catastrophe

It appears that Nostradamus was preoccupied with the year 2025 when he wasn’t forecasting significant occurrences like the Great Fire of London, Princess Diana’s death, and nuclear weapons.

Specifically, what he thought would occur during the year.

And, shockingly enough, the notorious French astrologer was said to have foreseen a fair amount of gloom and disaster for humanity. Which would be concerning, but when do mystics ever see good things happening in the future?

Nostradamus didn’t have great expectations for 2025, so if you were looking for some good fortune in the last part of the year, you’re in the wrong place.

Who was Nostradamus?

The name Nostradamus, or Michel de Nostredame as his friends called him in the 16th century, is probably well-known to you. He was a French physician, apothecary, and astrologer who lived from 1503 to 1566.

Why, therefore, is he known for foretelling events that took place hundreds of years after his passing?

All of it can be attributed to his book Les Prophéties, which consists of 942 poems that make predictions about the future.

What did Nostradamus predict for 2025?

In Les Prophéties, Nostradamus is said to have prophesied several things about our prosperous year 2025, including increased international strife, the cessation of the Russian-Ukrainian War, the emergence of Aquaman, and calamity in the Amazon.

The astrologer’s prediction that the plague would return to England’s shores, however, seems to indicate that he thought some more concerning events might be in store for us. He wrote, “The kingdom will be marked by wars so cruel / Foes from within and without will arise / A great pestilence from the past returns / No enemy more deadly under the skies.”

This wasn’t the only grim prediction, as it would appear Nostradamus believed this to be the final year that humans will exist on Earth, suggested in the following poem: “From the cosmos, a fireball will rise / A harbinger of fate, the world pleads / Science and fate in a cosmic dance / The fate of the Earth, a second chance.”

Putting flowery prose aside, it seems that Nostradamus foretold that Earth would be struck by a comet or other alien object while we all watch in terror and hope for a second chance.

What has Nostradamus previously got correct?

Les Prophéties is said to have made reference to several significant historical events, which is the primary reason why Nostradamus has come to be seen as the ultimate boss of all clairvoyants.

Among the well-known predictions ascribed to Nostradamus are:

The Revolution in France: “Songs, chants, and demands will come from the enslaved / Held captive by the nobility in their prisons.”Hitler, Adolf: “From the depths of the West of Europe / A young child will be born of poor people / He who by his tongue will seduce a great troop / His fame will increase towards the realm of the East.”9/11 terrorist attacks: “The sky will burn at forty-five degrees / Fire approaches the great new city / By fire, he will destroy their city / A cold and cruel heart, blood will pour / Mercy to none.”

However, I’d urge you to take these with a pinch of salt as several verses are pretty vague at best, take this one for example: “The ancient task will be completed / From on high, evil will fall on the great man / A dead innocent will be accused of the deed / The guilty will remain in the mist.”

It may sound like a meaningless AI request or the still your uncle says at Christmas after drinking too much, but it’s actually the poetry that has been linked to foretelling John F. Kennedy’s killing.

Before a blazing comet destroys the rest of us, will the pandemic strike the UK in the upcoming six months? Perhaps, but perhaps not.

I wouldn’t worry too much, though, because you won’t have to worry about FOMO if humanity does perish.
