At seven months pregnant with twins, my life took a devastating turn. One day, I received a photo from my husband’s boss, Veronica—a picture of Eric, shirtless and lying in her bed, with the caption, “He’s mine now.” When Eric came home later that evening, he confirmed the betrayal. He was leaving me for Veronica, and, shockingly, she made me an offer: She’d buy me a house, cover all my expenses—if I gave her one of my babies. She claimed it would be easier for me to raise one child, and she’d give the baby the “best life.” I was speechless at first but quickly realized I had to outsmart them. I pretended to agree to their offer, but I set one condition: I wanted to choose which baby she could have. After a tense negotiation, Veronica agreed to buy me a house—but I made sure the property was in my name. Once my twins were born, I called Veronica and Eric over, telling them I was ready to give them the baby. But instead, I revealed my true plan: “Neither of them is going anywhere.” I then dropped the bombshell. The house was legally mine, not theirs. And I had already posted all their messages and photos online, exposing their sick plan to the world. The aftermath was swift and brutal. Eric lost his job, and Veronica was fired and ostracized from her social circles. Meanwhile, I rocked my girls to sleep every night in my new home, knowing I didn’t just survive—I came out victorious.
