This is my go-to cheat meal, and I had to share it with you all..

This pot roast goes wonderfully with classic side dishes like creamy mashed potatoes or buttery egg noodles.

You could also add some steamed green beans or roasted carrots to round out the meal. Don’t forget to scoop up some of that delicious slow-cooked gravy to drizzle over everything!

Slow Cooker 3 Packet Pot Roast
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients
3-4 pound chuck roast

1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet Italian dressing mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 cup water

Optional: chopped vegetables (carrots, potatoes, onions)
Directions
1. Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
2. Sprinkle the ranch, Italian dressing, and brown gravy packets directly onto the roast.

3. Pour the cup of water around the sides of the roast (not on top to avoid rinsing off the seasonings).

4. If you’re adding vegetables, place them around the roast now.

5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the roast is tender and shreds easily with a fork.

6. Once done, shred the roast with two forks and mix it back into the juices before serving.
