She shared her heartbreak after watching the loss unfold on live TV, describing the home as a place where she built cherished memories with her family, including the milestones of her children. Although devastated,by the loss, she expressed gratitude that her family is safe and extended her sympathy to others affected by the fires. Hilton announced that her team is working with nonprofits to assist those impacted and thanked first responders for their efforts. She also urged people to stay safe and support one another during the crisis. As of January 8, the Palisades Fire had burned over 11,800 acres, with the death toll rising to five.
