Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, was recently selected to be a Florida delegate at the Republican National Convention this summer.  The Florida Republican Party chose Barron to serve as an at-large delegate, scheduled to take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The 18-year-old soon-to-be high school graduate joins other prominent conservative figures representing the Florida Republican Party, such as Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Fox News commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle, and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Barron is set to graduate from the prestigious Oxbridge Academy in Florida.  The American Tribune recently reported on the controversy surrounding the hush money trial, where it was previously uncertain if Trump could attend Barron’s graduation ceremony later this month.

“(Barron’s) a great student and he’s very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there, and it looks like the judge isn’t going to allow me to escape this scam. It’s a scam trial,” Trump stated in April.

However, Judge Merchan eventually granted Trump permission to attend the May 17 graduation date.  “I don’t think the May 17 date is a problem,”  Merchan announced to the court late last month.  Trump has been highly critical of Judge Merchan, suggesting he is “badly conflicted” in what amounts to a “hoax” of a trial.
