Famous actor John Voight spoke last fall about what he describes as the “appearance of Satan” in Hollywood, as the entertainment industry continues to become increasingly opposed to Christian values.  During an interview with Newsmax, he noted that in the 85 years of his life, he has observed “enormous change” in the country and not for the better.

Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt pointed out that much of America’s cultural issues originate from the entertainment industry in California.  “You know, much of this cultural rot comes from where you live in southern California, in the business that you’re in,” the host said. “I’m not saying that as an insult; it’s just a fact.”

“In the time of my life, I’ve seen an enormous change in this country,” the actor said. “And it’s all been quite disturbing.”  Voight suggested that this began with the KGB, who sought to “divide the United States, divide the citizens of the United States, through the press, through the schools, take God out of the schools and divide the country by race and age and gender. And they certainly have accomplished this in this rather short period of time.”

Voight pointed out that the pervasive Marxism in America has subverted the traditional Christian values that once defined the nation.  He stated that the “engine that gives [Marxism] guidance” is “certainly not God. So we have a lot of atheism that’s come forth.”  Voight continued, “Now we have an amazing, you know, appearance of Satan in our community now.  It’s a difficult time.”

John Voight has consistently used his influence to interject himself in the ongoing culture war in America.  He has been outspoken on issues plaguing the country, such as faith, political corruption, and wokeness.  For example, Voight called out the destruction of the traditional family unit when speaking to the Christian Post.

“Family is so important, and family is being attacked by people who are really trying to tear down the fabric of our society, it’s true,” Voight said. “I don’t want to get into any kind of conspiracy stuff, but it’s really happening. So we have to protect the values of our country and the values of family and guide the focused lives; we have to protect that aspect.”

The American Tribune also reported on Voight’s recent comments, expressing his support for former President Donald Trump.  He claimed that, if reelected, Trump would defeat the “barbaric animals destroying our country.”

Bring back what was lost,” Voight said.  “We must bring back the safety of this great country. We must bring back our greatest achievements that once were blooming.”  He continued, “My friends of all colors, all religions, all nations, we must remember [this] truth: one love, under God. This life is full of injustice, this land of Israel is in danger, the land of the free, the USA, is in danger.”

The Oscar-winning actor further stated,  “President Trump will step up to the plate of justice and overrule the barbaric animals destroying our country, the USA, and destroying the beautiful, sacred land, the walls of many prayers, the soil of Moses, who said, ‘Let my people go.’”
