WATCH: Trump Lawyer Claims E. Jean Carroll Will Receive “ZERO” From $83M Ruling

During a recent podcast appearance, Trump’s Lawyer, Alina Habba, criticized the E. Jean Carroll defamation case ruling that former President Trump would have to pay $83 million.  During an interview with Patrick Bet-David on the “PBD Podcast,” Habba maintained that Trump would not pay a dime to Carroll.

“How much of the 83 million is she going to see?,” asked the host. Habba confidently responded, “Zero! Zero. And then I’m going to sue for attorney’s fees,” emphasizing that Carroll would cover the legal fees associated with fighting the case.  Bet-David responded, “Oh, I can’t wait for that.”

Habba made similar remarks in other interviews, where she warned Carroll not to make expensive purchases, such as homes or vehicles because she would not receive any of the $83 million from the case.  The Trump lawyer recently sounded off on Carrol during an interview on Newsmax with host Eric Bolling after Carrol offered to purchase MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow a penthouse apartment and other expensive items following the verdict from the defamation case.
“It was like being in an epic Twilight Zone where no rules were allowed but for the other side, and then she goes out there and gloats and says she’s gonna buy France, and a wardrobe, and a motorcycle, and this and that. I want everyone to remember, and I said this in my closing argument to the jury, she’s here to get a check and after this she will continue. She didn’t care, you know, about the defamation. She didn’t. She cared about the publicity,” Habba said.
Habba expressed confidence that an appeal would be successful.  “On appeal, those rulings will come up, the one-sidedness will come up, and we will prevail,” she continued.  “My advice to her would be not to go ahead and purchase any motorcycles or penthouse apartments.”

Alina Habba has fiercely defended former President Trump throughout the intense legal battles he has faced ahead of the presidential election.  Watch a clip of Alina Habba’s appearance on the “PDB Podcast” below:

The American Tribune recently reported on other comments from Habba, where she slammed leftist attempts to keep Donald Trump off of ballots.  At the time, the U.S. Supreme Court had just issued a bombshell ruling that prohibited Colorado from removing Donald Trump from its ballot under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, also referred to as the “Insurrection Clause.

“Imagine crying because the Constitution is standing strong and we’re not going to turn into Cuba. That’s Trump derangement syndrome 101 Right there. We’re so upset because the Constitution was upheld today, because the Supreme Court showed us that we are not Cuba. We are not a third world country. We are not a Banana Republic, and that the things I’ve seen over the past four months in New York are not going to become America,” she said.

Habba also called out liberal news networks, such as CNN and MSNBC, for having “tantrums” after it was ruled states do not have the authority to invoke the “Insurrection Clause” and remove presidential candidates from their respective ballots.
