Hydrogen- Powered Cars By 2025

BMW is shifting its focus to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, seeing them as an important player in the future of automotive transportation.

While electric vehicles (EVs) have been the main focus of zero-emission automakers, hydrogen vehicles, which use fuel cells that emit only water vapor, are gaining attention for their sustainability.

BMW CEO Oliver Zipse has said that hydrogen engines will play a decisive role globally in the long term and aims to deliver these cars by 2025.

The BMW iX5 Hydrogen is expected to debut in 2024, offering features such as quick refueling, stable driving range and performance comparable to EV cars.
